Malt, creamy palate, lemony finish, decent carbonation - exactly what I got.

Maybe I should pair it with deep fried haggis for the post, just to make it slightly different... ;)Richardhttp://www.thebeercast.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38739054.post-91760234769125494082011-03-06T17:42:51.828+00:002011-03-06T17:42:51.828+00:00haha - Mark, it was *bang* on with that fish!haha - Mark, it was *bang* on with that fish!Leighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05512660051158275112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38739054.post-7390432984236604612011-03-06T10:33:59.812+00:002011-03-06T10:33:59.812+00:00It's a great beer and I bet it's totally d...It's a great beer and I bet it's totally delicious with that fish and mayo. I've become very fond of Wild Swan of late. JC - hahah, very droll! PSBH is definately on the list and if this is on the bar when I get there, then yes, I'll be trying for comparison purposes. North in Leeds are getting TB on Keg too, so fingers crossed it shows up soon. I'm a CAMRA member too, you know! Scott - nice to hear from you - nothing I can do about pricing!! sorry!Leighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05512660051158275112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38739054.post-15258089766790187552011-03-05T00:42:54.686+00:002011-03-05T00:42:54.686+00:00Hi Leigh

Look forward to it on keg - although this will have to be carefully done I think as it's quite an elegant beer and "traditional" keg might do it no favours. Good that Thornbridge keg is actually "keg" via Keykeg then.

Oops - forgot I'm an active CAMRA member (just back from ruling a few local pubs with fear - you wouldn't believe the adrenaline rush that power gives you...) so scrub all that. No, this is a very bad beer - it's not brown and uses, gasp, foreign hops. May the brewers burn in hell.John Clarkehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00132845616834779091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38739054.post-48885668894516392522011-03-04T20:08:11.605+00:002011-03-04T20:08:11.605+00:00I wonder if any of that was found its way to Virgi...I wonder if any of that was found its way to Virgina, I can get Jaipur over here so here's hoping.Alistair Reecehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15929927359428659775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38739054.post-85715475167676057242011-03-04T18:23:50.078+00:002011-03-04T18:23:50.078+00:00Ive tryed this recently at one of their main hub p...Ive tryed this recently at one of their main hub pubs the greystones.
