Unless you have built up plenty of cash in the bank, have another source of income, or just don't have anyone other than yourself reliant on you making money, it seems hard to produce enough or sell enough to make it an economically viable career in the long term. I suspect it's arguably even tougher to get your brews in to the market as well. Gaz and Dave seem to have got the balance right though, as a 2nd job, even a hobby, it sounds like a dream (Ask me in a year or so, and I should be able to tell you if it is!)Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02122361083112494243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38739054.post-16312421453051247862011-03-26T11:48:41.014+00:002011-03-26T11:48:41.014+00:00Thanks for the comments guys: more to cone in part...Thanks for the comments guys: more to cone in part 2...and there may be something of interest for you, Barry!Leighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05512660051158275112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38739054.post-44420816804674166402011-03-26T10:05:39.253+00:002011-03-26T10:05:39.253+00:00Nice piece, Leigh! Great story too - I like the idea of the cuckoo brewery making small scale and doing things exactly as they want to.

I love the Revolutions Brewing Co branding. That's very smart and I'd buy it simple on that alone!Mark Dredgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11421095862178324693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38739054.post-47077920859454795982011-03-25T21:02:22.840+00:002011-03-25T21:02:22.840+00:00Really interesting, the actual dynamics of it all,...Really interesting, the actual dynamics of it all, good post.arnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04046512935179787759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38739054.post-56972878293821364252011-03-25T20:05:15.140+00:002011-03-25T20:05:15.140+00:00Nice piece, Leigh. Would love to try it!

Oddly, I don't think I've heard the term Cuckoo Brewing before. I always thought of it as Gypsy brewing, a la Mikkeller. Sounds more romantic :DBarry Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07367655129107699025noreply@blogger.com
