Ilkley Beer Festival 2011 Beer List

....Here's the Beer list for the 2011 Ilkley Beer Festival. There's certainly plenty of interest jammed throughout the Northern-centric list; such as Leeds new boys Ridgeside and Burley St Brewing, who are based at the Fox & Newt. Perennial TGS favourites Purple Moose and Marble have a couple of beers loitering around, and the (as featured on TV) Waen Brewery make a rare appearance this year. Other breweries to look out for - in my humble opinion, of course - are Allendale, RCH, and Yorkshire Dales. Jump over to the main site for location and times of sessions. Have fun!

It literally defies the laws of time and space how quickly this sells out every year. I seem to have missed the boat again!

Not that I'd be able to get down for this one, but it really annoys me when beer festivals only allow advanced ticket sales. They've now sold out, but if I found myself at a loose end in the area (not unheard of) and only found out about it at short notice I'd be really disappointed. Looks a good list, too.

Tickets sold out already!! Must try and get to this some day. A guy I work with provides part of the musical entertainment each year and reckons it's the best festival there is.

Must admit...advance tickets are a pain for most people it seems. And yes, looks a great list.

Beedel says...we are allowing 30/40 people to buy tickets and gain entry for each session if they turn up at the beginning of each session on the day.First come first served.

Tickets sell out in days of going on sale.Sorry.

We are limited on capacity.

Just to say that the Beer Festival went really well and we think we have raised about £30,000 for local good causes.

As Mark B. has said we have only limited space in our venue because of Fire Regulations. Having said that we didn't turn anyone away at the door this year if they had not bought tickets beforehand.

For the record.

Beer of the Festival was Saltaire Brewery hazelnut and Coffee Porter
